[Miscellaneous] Never stop learning

Now, I have plenty time to update my blog and I have mood to do so >.<  It's pretty nostalgic. I miss the time I can type anything related to makeup (and other beauty stuff related) and bring my time to do complete review based on my experience and a lil bit of knowledge.

I wanna inform you all, if you wanna find me and ask me things about latest product review I posted in my Instagram or Facebook account, you can chat me towards message or you can find me on ask.fm. My ask.fm account isn't such an active account but the notification is keep being active, so I can get your question ASAP.

    

So.. Never stop learning. Yes, I do. It reminds me the time I blogged back then. How lovable it was when I typed anything I wanna to tell in a blog. I like to write and type things randomly till today. It could be so hard to write good things in good grammar, well since I'm not really good in linguistic. However, I know I'm blessed that I have strong principle to learn any interesting thing for good. I write quotes, random thought and/or anything on my personal Facebook account and I create a pic shorter sentences on Instagram. I miss every moment when I can write things on my mind. It's like I can do it naturally or it could be done without my consent LOL.

One of my random thoughts in Instagram

I actually don't get any proper education from a pro makeup school.  I mostly use internet as basic source, I have my experience when I got the product and I use internet (again) to find anything relatable to my experience and such. And you know what I got? I got new friends and many of them went to pro makeup school. We talked many things and I learned things from them as friends, not clients or students.

See? Now you all know that I am actually incapable to be heard as a person who has proper knowledge about makeup stuffs. I currently learn everything practically and verbally. Do I have any plan to go to pro makeup school? Of course. I don't know how it would be. I'm currently working with my parents. I haven't asked about those things and I don't know how to tell them because my dad is a person who wanna make everything he spends is useful. I'm afraid that he doesn't allow me to since I'm not interested of being a Makeup Artist. Damn it

SERIOUSLY? Yes, I do! I am not interested to work in that field as my main job because I'm not patient. Let me tell you my point.

I am practical but I'm not a person who can be damn so patient to stand in hours. I don't really wanna spend so many hours to wait for clients. I can deal with annoying people since I get much experiences while working in parent's wholesale clothing shops. FYI, They run some small shops but pleasurable and stable. And, I'm their oldest children plus my siblings are all kids. So, it's not surprising that I don't work much beside going to shops and deal with people everyday.

I am currently interested in no any other beauty and makeup related beside beauty makeup. To conclude, I'm currently not into editorial, sfx any other kinda makeup, even skincare knowledge. I'm currently feeling much interested in makeup products and techniques.

Plus, I have some plans to do for my future. I actually wanna have my own makeup brand and F&B stall. It doesn't have to be a monster one as long as it is pleasurable. And I know it needs a lot of effort. Money is needed but knowledge and have a good sense about market are much important.

That's why I am still kinda fuzzy when it comes into money. I don't wanna spend money to anything I don't really need or really want to have. I'm sorry but I'm not as rich as Kylie Jenner, a person who have much money to multiply her money by her fame even the products are overrated (sorry, not sorry). I should save my own before multiplying it :/ I don't really think I would ask my parents to do so..

But I keep this principle for years. It's actually my parent's principle and it's getting into me:
1. Learning and keeps learning
People are naturally good and wise because they don't stop learning. I can't stop learning it since makeup stuffs and beauty makeup technique is deep, it's not just about applying essential kits on your face. Keep learning will make you being better.

I'm currently learning color theory and how to adjust color for complexion. Yeah, it's depressing yet interesting though. It needs a lot of effort and trial-and-error process to understand xD

2. Don't learn something from wrong source.
Doing mistakes are OK. We all do these things many times before we can do something right. I keep believing in it. But, choosing to learn something from wrong sources is not wise at all. Do you wanna know why? It would make us have wrong knowledge. This quote is pretty relatable. You are the one pouring the water, you know what kinda water you wanna pour into the glass ;D

3. Sharing is caring.
Since I don't share much on blog anymore and more into a closed discussion group in Facebook, it could be hard to share things. I would like to share things I know and learn things that I don't know in a circle. Because of my willingness on learning, I can meet some nice pro MUAs and they aren't hesitate to help at all. It makes me happy that I could learn without being feel intimidated XD
Plus, I can help sharing good things to people who don't understand much about this stuff.

To conclude, I wanna be a beautypreneur beside being entrepreneur XD I just wanna share my love towards cosmetic. I hope I could do!

I'm feeling so hard to keep posting in my blog. Too many pending posts I wanna write. I write a lot in my Facebook personal account but so hard to keep myself in this blog. Should I move my blog to somewhere else that makes me easy to update my blog? Even I don't write much, I keep being impulsive in makeup LOL.

As an impulsive person, I'd like to shop anywhere I like. I do usually love to buy Japanese and Korean beauty products online since the price on the stores are pretty high and online shops offer product in much cheaper price. However, it would be different when it comes to Western products. Most western beauty products on the stores are slightly higher and when it comes to sale program, it could be cheaper! Plus, I could go to another shops and find local ones. Such a huge deal! It could make me happy like kids getting their most favorite toys! >_<

Anyway, there's another thing I have to consider. Yes, traffic jam. Jakarta is so crowded and it's easily to get stuck in a jam. ERH!

[Random] My Hair Story Part. III (Somewhat unpredictable)

This is a kinda short post because I wanna write about my new hair color.

I had stopped to color my hair for a while and it was about last December. And I got to do my thesis.. so I have no enough time effort to take care of my appearance, especially my hair.

My last hair color is accidentally "ombre" style lol. My last hair color this:

Is it cool? I think this hair color is somewhat miserable T_T It is like a dirty blonde with hints of ash on the edge *ugh*

Let me share how I got this hair color.

First, I tried to get this hair color!

SO. FREAKING. BAD

And I think it would be enough by get my hair bleached for several times and put some ash hair coloring products.. But it's totally wrong. It's not that easy though! I didn't tone it so yeah, it fails ewh!

So, here's my story:

I was trying to get this hair color but I didn't learn much about it. I think bleaching process with ash hair color would be enough. But it's totally wrong! ARGH. This is what I used at that time.

But yes, as we know that if we have less experience of self coloring, you may get result that out of your expectation.

As if you wanna know, the color on the top of the box is pretty light:

That's my real hair! Erh. Here's what I got:

Some parts were "still" black. MEH

*please bare my blemishes :"D*

Pretty disappointed with this Palty. It changes my hair color into a dark orange, worse than cheapo bleaching powder out there. 

So, I got my hair bleached twice. I used this palty, then I re-bleached my hair with another bleaching powder and applied that Gatsby one.

The result?

No no no makeup X'D

Pretty blonde, right? Because I think it is quite light to put another ash hair coloring product, I grabbed Schwarzkopf Berry Ash *again* because I got an ashy color when I had my hair green last year.

And here's the final result:

I got ash strokes but my hair is STILL too blonde -_____-

Dahell.. I'm kinda depressed. Some friends told me that I skipped the most important thing. Yeah, toning! I need to tone it down since my real hair color is pretty intense and the bleaching may fade into orange in weeks. Duh!

I think I would change my hair color into that dark grey hair color later. I need to wait for months to get a better hair condition.

What do you think about my new hair? People said that this color is suitable in me.

[HAUL + Announcement] My Thailand Haul and Giveaway Announcement

I'm so happy I've back from my trip. I got a short trip to Bangkok and Pattaya for 4 days and I went there with my family :D It is quite sudden but it's unforgettable. The unforgettable and "quite bad" moments happened there. 

And if I wanna post a blog about my travelling later. I will make a new section for travelling so you may read easily. 

Here, I wanna post my hauls and announcement here. Thailand is very popular of their garments and cosmetics/skin care lines. They have incredible product and mostly they have it great in an affordable price. :D If you like to shop (it's for female!), you will shop here till you're drop!! But; be careful. Fake things are everywhere. You need to be aware ;)

As they have affordable products, I decided to purchase some. However, many of them are using Paraben in their product :( I don't shop much because, yeah, it's limited non-paraben product.

And these are the things I bought there.

Psst, it's easy to get and I will tell you where I got it ^^ 

1. 3 pcs of Fuji Skincare

I got them at 7-Eleven! Yes, all of my skincare products were purchased there. It's so easy to find ;) For the price, I got B35/each. B35 (35 Baht) is about S1.1 :p So cheap! Snail Gel and Snail Cream are for skin regeneration and help to heal your skin and Bee Venom Cream is for achieving smoother skin *o*

2. Salmon Cream by Namu

If I'm not mistake, Namu is a company which produces Snail White. Snail white is very popular here. And I found an unique skincare thingy. MOREOVER, it looks Japanese. LOL. The price is also B35! Where to buy? You can find it everywhere. I got mine at 7-Eleven with other skincare products.

3. Smooto Kawaii Magic Whitening Serum

This serum looks so tempting! It has Venom, Tofu and Snail in it. Oh come on, it looks promising!

Tofu is very popular as a natural ingredient to achieve fairer skin. And I have mentioned about Venom and Snail before, so, it's still.. tempting! The price? Ok, it's about B29 or less than $1 !! Uh! Cheaper and more tempting. Haiyah -____-

4. Parana Cosmetic Sleeo Night Bright Tomorrow Mask

I'd like to have some sleeping mask to try and I think I should try this one. XD This is the last product I purchased at 7-Eleven.The price is about B19 or $0.5. Cheapest product I've purchased here ^_^ But I believe that the product is also great.

5. Fake Nails by Pink Nail

Details *o*

Affordable fake nails on Thailand! I got it on Sang Charoen Beauty Plus. It's a beauty store that sells many kind of cosmetics and hair dye T___T So so sooooo tempting. I wanna buy them all :')

It consists 24 fake nails, 8 nails with fake crystal and other nails is polished by transparent and glittery nail polish. It doesn't look too much since you don't have to use all the crystal fake nails :D The price is about B150 or $4.7. It's quite affordable *o* I was going crazy there.

6. Two pairs of contact lenses!

Another pair of soft contact lenses! I should kill myself /shoot! I can't stop purchasing them T___T 

I am into blue, red, black and white on my daily life, but it doesn't happened on my eyes. I'd like to purchase grey, blue and green ;3 Hard to find red lenses and I got a pair!

First is Kawaii Kitty Charming in Red. It is from Vassen! Yey, my favorite brand :D

Second pair is Lollipop Kiwi in Blue. It's from Dueba. They're both amazing, isn't it? :D

I purchased red one, but there's no red here ^^; Perhaps it is a new color

By the way, I don't get the cases since it needs to pay extra fee to get the cases. So, I dunno the exact price for the case. The lens is about B200 ($6.2). So cheap, isn't it? T__T I should bring more money later!
