Yeah, I'm freeee!! Fiuhhhh~ I mean, I have a quite long holiday and I don't have to do some assignments too much. Tehee! So, my blog is less updating day by day. And being busy because of college life is so boring T_T So, I am so happy I've got my holiday.
As I've put it on my
May Haul (Ok, I know I am so late to review. Meh!), I will review all of Maybelline Color Show Collection I have.
Here, let me remind you which products I have and sure, its review! :
1. Crayon Kohl:
They are available in 7 colors in Indonesia, but I took 3 liners for my private stuffs because these colors are much more attractive XD. Don't ask me about other 4 colors. I do remember nothing beside gold one. :/
♥♥♥ Packaging (3/5):
The packaging is kinda simple. They have no box, have no any cute/unique things to package this product since they are really affordable. They just wrap it in plastic!. The details about color, ingredients and other important things is printed on the plastic. Nothing special but it is well packed! Moreover, it is also travel-friendly since it isn't bulky at all :)
And, I couldn't take photos of the ingredients because they are hard to capture --" So, I don't post them all *sorry :(
But, you don't have to worry. Maybelline is very popular since it is cruelty-free and doesn't use Paraben for their products! *salute..
#03 Ocean Blue, #01 Spicy Orange and #06 Noble Purple. They're pretty bold colors! Ooops, they are stated as waterproof liner and has intense color in all day. I was pretty curious, so I don't think twice. Grab them!

♥♥♥ Color(5/5):
If you love bold liners, you won't skip them! They have bold and intense colors. I do strongly agree of its statement! Let's swipe them on my finger. They're intense in a swipe!
All of them have shimmers BUT the shimmer isn't like a disco ball. They have pretty shimmers. Much love! ♥
Let's go into the tests!
♥♥♥ Longevity (5/5):
If you ask me about its longevity, I should say I loveeee it! Why? It stays on my oily eyelid whole day! Yay~ I have tried them and I simply love it.
In the waterproof test, they prove their "statement". They are "real" waterproof products. I tried to rub it hard and it didn't get removed too much :p It stays on my hand and my eyelid.
For smudgeproof test, I use baby oil and it is so easy to be removed. Actually, I don't really mind since I rarely have oily lids. But if you have very oily eyelid, you should avoid this liner.

♥♥♥ Texture (3/5):
The texture itself is almost perfect. Alright, almost. It is because the liner doesn't glide well on my "full make up" eyelid. It glides very well on my hand and tear line, but it will be slightly difficult to glide on my eyelid when I have applied my complexion make up (make up base, foundation, concealer and loose powder).
Beware! It is so fragile and it makes the kohl breaks easily -_-"
The finishing result on my eyes! I combined them all on my eyes and it looks cool for me *o*
Overall result is 4. They're pretty good on my eyes and I love them all. If you ask me to repurchase, I don't think I will repurchase them soon since I rarely use them.
2. Lipstick:
Yeshhhhhhh, new lipstick. LOL. This lipstick is kinda different because I don't purchase bold color one. I bought a nude color one. Here it is, Maybelline Color Show #301 True Toffee.
I love bold colors like red and shocking pink and I have purchased some products like
Maybelline Color Sensaational,
Clio, Candy Doll and so on.. And I thought it was good to purchase a nude color one. Being nude will never be failed, IKR! This color is one of my nude lipstick beside Canmake Melty Nude Lip #04 Peach Beige. This nude lipstick is different because this nude lipstick has orange shade and it looks nice!!
♥♥♥ Packaging (4/5):
It looks sophisticated in plastic material. The packaging itself is ordinary but I love the design. It is in black plastic but if you take a look on the first pic, you will find a light orange line. That line indicates the lipstick color. Cool!
♥♥♥ Ingredients (5/5):
I love the ingredients since this lipstick has amazing things in it. It has Shea Butter and Jojoba Seed Oil. Say no to chapped lips ;)
Uuhhhh the color! ♥♥
♥♥♥ Color (5/5):
The color is somewhat pretty on my lips. Pretty pretty so pretty!! I love it because it doesn't look too much and I can use it on my daily make up >_<

It is so pretty on my lips. I swear it! LOL. It conceals my chapped lips (yes, I have chapped lips T_T) and the color turns great. ♥♥
♥♥♥ Longevity (3/5):
Longevity itself is very ordinary. It will be gone if you have something to eat/drink. Need to apply it multiple times. o.O Maybelline isn't good in longevity but the colors are always that great. That is the another reason I wanna purchase more Maybelline Lipsticks beside its affordable price.
♥♥♥ Finishing Effect (5/5):
Since it is into moist look, it has pretty good look. It also has great moisturizing power. My chapped lips doesn't get dry at all :D It helps me to conceal and moist my lips well. ;)
Overall result is 4.4 ♥ It is surprisingly good for drugstore products :3 To repurchase, I think I will grab other Maybelline lipstick later :P
And the last product I purchased from Color Show Collection is:
3. Nail Polish:
For nail polish, I took 2 bottles of nail polish, #215 Keep-up-the-Flame and #503 Denim Dash.

♥♥♥ Packaging (5/5):
I love its packaging. It has simple material in a transparent glass bottle with black plastic cap. It looks.. simple yet cool. It is also not bulky for me since I can grab it on my hand easily. Btw, all of the details are printed on the label and/or the bottle since it is not wrapped in plastic.
♥♥♥ Applicator (5/5):
What a nice applicator! The wand has perfect size, so it won't make me difficult to apply this nail polish. The black brush itself is quite soft and distribute the polish well.
♥♥♥ Colors (3/5):
The colors look great on the bottle, but it is not as cool as expected. I was trying hard to apply it but it doesn't show great colors. I mean, they are great but the color is slightly different from the bottle.
When it dries, the color turns dull .... You can't swipe it once to achieve nice color. The layer is thin, so it needs more than one swipe. I swiped it twice and it was closer to the real color.

It looks dull, right? -_- The red is not as "flaming" as it is stated :( The blue looks dull, a very dull color.
♥♥♥ Longevity (3/5):
This nail polish is not easily cracked :D However, it doesn't stay too long. The polish is cracked for 3-4 days. Not too bad since I do not into nail thingy >_< . It also doesn't make my nails turn yellowish :3
Overall result is 3.5. It is not a very good product. I think they need to improve their nail polish line.
And you might ask me a very common question..
"How much are they?"
The answer is: They're really affordable. It is about Rp. 30.000 ($2.5) each product! Everybody was shocked when I told them about the price. They thought it would reached approximately Rp. 75.000 ($7)
or higher. But no, they're freaking cheap!
To bring them home, you can simply find it on drugstores, malls and supermarkets :P They are quite easy to find :D However, I was in difficult to purchase them since they were sold out everywhere and lucky me, I found them on supermarkets :3
