[Review + FOTD] Latest Japanese Trend and Make Up Tips and Trick from 盛れる!! Jelly Magazine

Hello, Lovely! ♥
So, how's your June? I'm not pretty good, but I'd love to update my blogs right now. Today, I wanna review a magazine. What? A magazine? Sure?

Yes! This magazine is very popular among Japanese, especially Gyaru lover. This magazine is not issued every month. This magazine is quarterly issued. But I dunno, perhaps I have to make some friends from Japan and ask them all of the meaning. My Japanese is very sucks ! >_<

This is Jelly and it is not regularly issued. It is definitely "special edition"! Here,  I wanna review the latest 盛れる!! Jelly Magazine I got.  It is issued at April, 2nd. It's not too old, indeed. I scanned some of my favorite parts. I won't review the whole magazine because it is kinda piracy form. So, if you are interested into it, you can purchase it :)

I was interested to purchase this magazine because... I dunno, it's JELLY! LOL. I love Jelly more than other magazines. And I know that this edition is hard to find. So, I don't have to think twice, right? ;)

Cover by Hana Imai

♥♥♥ Cover (5/5):
Basically, the cover is quite clear. It tells you about "make up transformation" by putting small "before" photo on the left part and the cover itself is "after" photo. The fonts is quite big and dominant each other, but it doesn't look too much! Great cover.

Can you guess the beauty trends do they describe here? ;) The cover gives you some clue!

And these are some my favorite scans:

1. Flawless Base Make Up

Model by Izuoka Misaki

Model by Remi Sakamoto

Yes, flawless base make up is important! Very important. They give some base make up tips. Izu is into silky finish and Remi is shiny one. Both of them are look so flawless, pretty and doesn't look too much.
The differences:
1. Izu makes silky finish by tapping a towel on her face.
2. Remi gives brightener to make her face shinier.

2. An "awkwardness safety" make up

Model by Izuoka Misaki

Actually, I have no idea why this trend is exist -_____- It's focused on your eye make up but it saves you from laziness. Laziness of putting make up on :/
This trend is somewhat absurd, but well, you will find many Japanese girls are using surgical mask everywhere.
Perhaps, they're afraid of bacteria? Dunno :P

3. Beauty Trends!

Pink Shadow by Remi Sakamoto & Orange Brown by Mari Takahashi

Hot Pink by Remi Sakamoto & Neon Orange by Rina Ohashi

Blue Color Liner by Mari Takahashi & Brown Liner by Rina Ohashi

Yes, 6 trademarks! In Japan, Gyaru seems "decreasing" everyday and Japanese girls are tend to be natural, or edgy. They are more into street style, harajuku style and western style. Neo Gal is one of the latest trend in Japan. Neo Gal is playing more bold colors and based on this article, Neo Gal is a mixture of Harajuku style and Western style.

6 keys: Orange Brown Eyeshadow, Pink Eyeshadow, Neon Orange lips, Hot Pink lips, Brown Eyeliner and Blue color liner.

Plays bright and bold colors, right? ;)

4. Mistakes of some trends

Trendy girls will never want to lose her track about fashion and make up trends. However, they can fall into some mistakes. And in make up, it will be a disaster!

Here are the mistakes:
Left-Right, Top-Bottom:
1. Too thick eyebrow
It tells us that Japanese girls are also obsessed of thick eyebrows. Like some Korean girls do, they make their eyebrow thicker and brow color has exact color with their hair. However, they can be wrong when they draw their brow.

2. The blusher is too high
"Drunken face" is getting more popular today. Not only for Harajuku girls, but also other Japanese girls do this kind of make up. However, it can't be wrong applied. As you can see the pic, this girl looks like a clown before (on right pic), not drunken face one.

3. Too pink make up
Pink is somewhat popular on make up, EVERY TIME. You will never fail when you have pink color on your face. And it is similar to no. 2, you can not apply it wrong. This girl looks fattier because of her pinky make up.

And these mistakes is solved by make up artist. You can simply check it on the scans :P

5. Diamond Beauty's New Collection Debut

Model by Rei Yasui & Remi Sakamoto
(Okay, Remi is everywhere -_-)

Diamond Beauty is a very popular cosmetic brand in Japan. They're drugstore products and they're very affordable in a good quality :D They have loose powder, eyebrow kit, nose shading kit and so on, but the most popular products they have is eyelashes! They have produced many kinds of lashes in different series. One series One color!

Diamond lash is their biggest eyelash brand and they produce many kinds of lashes. They also claim themselves as No. 1 Eyelashes in Japan because of they can sold 7 packs in a minute!

Here, they have new collections in Orange color. This orange series is kinda natural. So natural. Let say, they move into much more natural make up. They don't skip their lashes but they change it into natural one :D

6. Surgical Cosmetic

HAHA, people might think this make up tips is for girls who are having their faces changed by the knife.
No, it's no! It is about "smaller" face effect without having plastic surgery. You can see that they have 2 foundations in different shade :) One is an exact one with their face and the other is darker, much darker. It can be 2-3 shades darker.

The big photos are the place they put their darker foundation on and the light one is a highlighter substitute. You can see the light one is used on the other 4 photos and finish it by applying setting powder.

AND.... They have special booklets in it. The booklets is talking about 5 essential make up kits for Japanese girl make up. Why are they essential?
As its title in Japanese, it will give you big "different" impact on your appearance.

Model by Remi Sakamoto

1. Color contact lens!
They are somewhat important for Japanese girl make up these days. They love to put lenses on their eyes because it makes them looks sweet or sexy or fierce, depends on their make up, too. Mostly, they put brown contact lens because they believe that brown lens is natural and suits them best.

2. Eyelashes
Whatever your eye shape is, lashes is important! It shows you many kinds of eye shape and eyelashes model on to those eyes.

3. Eye bag
Yes, eye bag. People were used to hate eye bag because it looks tired, dull and having sleepless face. There are some different tricks to make "namida bukuro".

4. Eyelash Extension
Eh, extension (?) I do really have no idea. They can find many cheap eyelashes there but why, they have some extensions ... -___-
The extensions effect makes a bigger effect and keep natural. I think this is just.. effortless. No need to put eyelash on everyday, just extend it :x

5. Double Eyelid
This trend is still "in". I think girls want to have double eyelid. However, many Japanese girls are having mono lid (me, too. But I'm not Japanese XD) It is just.. a must! They wanna make double eyelid make up everyday! Lucky you if you have double eye lid T___T

♥♥♥ Contents (4/5):
Well, I'm not really interested into its content. I feel that the trends seems so boring. It's classic, but too ordinary. It informs you about soft and clean make up, and it's just common, imo .... But the things I love very much is the contents always good to read. You can find the latest trend, good step-by-step make up tutorial and other inspiring make up tips!

♥♥♥ Tips and Trick Explanation (4/5):
If you rarely read Japanese kind of book, it will be very difficult since they have different side to read. They are not into left to right, but right to left -_- But well, the explanation is clear. So clear! The tricks are so unpredictable and worth to try.

♥♥♥ Design (5/5):
Their design itself are cool. Can't agree more. Kinda creative and different topic has different theme. Yuhuu.

The scores is 4.5. I think it is worth to buy for make up beginners or people who wants to know about Japanese make up itself. It is not really good for Professional since this is not for professional one.

Then, it comes into my FOTD!

What do you think about this magazine? Looks good? If you are interested into it, I remind you, to buy it on Japanese bookstores in your area. I got mine from Kinokuniya Store at Grand Indonesia Mall, Jakarta.

And, Thanks for reading, Lovely! ♥

[SPONSORED REVIEW] Natural Water Based Peeling Facial Mask? V 10 Plus HAS IT! ♥

Hello, Lovely! ♥
Today, I wanna review another skincare in this month ;D However, it is surely not my daily routine skincare since I have my routine daily skincare here.

The product that I will review is also very natural. No artificial chemical ingredients. No Paraben. No Mineral Oil. Excited enough? ;D

So, I got an email from Gladys, one of a crew from V 10 Plus to try one of their best selling product, V 10 Plus Water Based Peeling. I was so excited since they are from Japan *haha* and they have wonderful products like serum and facial masks. The things I love is "naturalness". Ah hah!

Its container is in tube shaped and it contains 50 ml, but I'm kinda not sure if I have to use the full size one. And they offered me a trial set. It contains 10 sachets and it can be used for 2 weeks.
Full sized V 10 Plus Water Based Peeling Facial Mask

A trial set of water based peeling facial mask

Each sachet contains 2 ml of peeling facial mask :D

Because V 10 Plus is kinda popular on Singapore, Taiwan, Finland and many other countries (simply call it "going worldwide"), they are also considering Indonesia as their next target. They provide product overview, instructions and some beauty tips in Bahasa.

This gentle peeling contains rice bran extract & seaweed extract. Without any harsh scrubbing, it effectively removes dead skin cells and reveals a cleaner & clearer skin instantly.

Instructions in Bahasa

Beauty Tips #1:

Beauty Tips #2 and all of them are in Bahasa

And it is the product itself plus its review:

Let me write the ingredients here, since it can't be clearly captured:
Ingredients:
Aqua/Water, Glycerin. Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Dicocodimonium Chloride, Steartrimonium Bromide, Isopropyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Oryza Sativa Extract, Algae Extract, Butylene Glycol.

♥♥♥ Packaging (4/5):
The packaging is just common and so ordinary. It is like a paper map and it gives you 10 sachets of the product. But, I love its detail. It writes an overview, instruction and beauty tips in a clear language. Moreover, the sachet itself is quite small. You can bring it everywhere when you wanna travel everywhere. Yep, travel-friendly!

♥♥♥ Ingredients(4/5):
It is stated as natural product because no harmful ingredients in it. I love it. A lot. I'm always craving for natural product and V 10 Plus has it! However, it contains alcohol.. It is okay if it contains alcohol, but I think the alcohol is too much. It makes its scent become so strong. I love the calmness effect but I don't like the scent itself.

♥♥♥ Texture and Scent (4/5):
If it comes into the texture, I simply love it! It is so watery, so calming and easy to blend! I feel it's so freaking good! However, the scent is kinda strong. As I've stated it before, the alcohol scent is too strong.

♥♥♥ Effectiveness (5/5):
Let me mention, this product is really effective! It works perfectly on my skin. It can remove dead skin cell in a very easy and effective at the same time. The flakes itself is not sticky at all.

♥♥♥ After Use Effect (5/5):
Simply rinse your face and VOILA! The skin is so fresh, calming, no sticky and no filmed at all. UH YEAH! It also helps you to moisturize the skin, but not really into it. But hey, this is peeling product. It must be so perfect if it helps you to moisturize your skin :D

I have no doubt about its effectiveness. However, every good product also has its weakness.

- It can not be applied in a thin layer. I tried it on thin layer and it was surprisingly blend into my skin and it didn't produce the flakes at all when I massaged my face. URGH!

The whole score for this product is 4.4! The product is somewhat cool and worth to purchase.
About the price? It is Rp. 270.000 ($25). Yep, kinda pricey but it is somewhat good to purchase!

But if you wanna try them out, you can simply buy its trial set because it is on discount! ;D And V 10 Plus Indonesia is also holding a giveaway. Simply check their website here:

[Random] Be wise of your hair, because I know I am not ;)

Hello, Lovely!  ♥ Sorry, I don't update too much because I have to do some assignments before this semester is over :D And June is hectic month, so it is very difficult to update T_T

And if you follow my Instagram, you will know that I have changed my hair color. Do you wanna know how many have I changed my hair? Once? Nope. It is twice! And my hair was also bleached twice!

Twice and I know my hair is freaking dry and unhealthy. Please, don't do this at home XD It is so embarrassing because I don't act wise towards my hair. And in this long post, I will tell you about the story of my hair :)

I have decided to change my hair for a long time. I'd tried to find which color I will try and my next project color is GREEN! Yes, what kind of green le? I will give you some examples :)

Nah, they are using dark green color (into black, perhaps). It reminds me of leaves, doesn't it? I love this color because one of famous fashion blogger, Sonia Eryka, inspires me.

She has pretty green hair and it looks sooo cool. I love this color. It looks great, rare to find and “outlaws” at the same time. That is why I purchased Enchanted Forest color by Manic Panic. Mine is classic cream one :)

Before I dyed it green, I know that I have to bleach my hair since my previous color is red and it needs to bleach to “let” the green in.

My real hair before it was recolored:

I think the red color was totally disappeared and my hair turned into light brown with black roots. Ieuwh!

So, I bought hair bleaching powder at a small saloon close to my house. I asked them about the bleaching powder and they said that it needs 3-4 table spoons of bleaching powder to get my hair bleached. So, I purchased the powder and developer.

The owner told me about the products she gave to me. Bleaching Powder is Concept Bleaching Powder from Makarizo and .. I forget about the developer. Sorry >_<

And this is the first step of my journey:

Bleach Powder

After waiting for 1 hour:

Yes, it is bleached! My hair turned orange, but it didn't happen on my virgin hair. My virgin hair area is still black, How can? T_T

So, I went to a salon in my campus area and had my hair bleached. I asked the hairstylist to bleach my hair but not too blonde. I'd like to have my hair bleached in orange, not blonde. So, he agreed, but… he fails! He makes it blonde T___T

I felt like my hair is like lion hair LOL. It doesn't suit me at all. So, I asked my friend (sorry!) to help me of applying this green color cream soon. Thanks to Levin. He's a great guy who always be there when I am in need :D And he applied it on my hair, stained my cheek and forehead, his arm and other friend's arm. Alright, the green stains is everywhere :v

And this was the result :D

Thanks for your magical hand, Levin. And sorry for the green stains everywhere. On your hand, your new clothes and others :P It turned great, indeed ^^ However, your work doesn't stay longer. I MUST recolor my hair again :(

I got what I wanted. My green hair! And it was fabulous. But why? T____T

Everybody was so shocked and I knew it right! This color is not a common color, right? Kinda extreme. But I love it! A hater (or some, well, I don’t care) told me that my green hair looked like a monkey. Hello, monkey’s hair is not green :P Many people told me how cool my green was. Many people gave me great compliments. I do think I don’t choose wrong color at all XD. I love my green hair beside red one ^^

My parents knew about and they were very upset. I was unhappy but society will never stop to judge, right? I’d like to do everything for myself, express myself well, love myself as I am x"D

However, they are, people I do always love and respect (perhaps, I have blind fear towards them), won’t give me a chance to do such extreme things. They are always thinking about society, every time, everywhere!
I tried to appreciate of their good side, protect me from society. I don't give a f*ck from the very first, but they do. What can I do? Next, I dyed it again into darker shade. I think I have done my best :)

This is my latest hair color. It is into ash green. I got ash color by using Freshlight Foam in Berry Ash. Thanks, it helps a lot!

Room light

Room Light + Outdoor Light

Yes, I do still have green color on my hair. It looks like green tint o.O Dunno what to say..

I don't think I will make reviews for all of my hair dye since I don't use them alone. No review for these hair dye products.

What do you think about my hair color? Is it still look good?

Thanks for reading, Lovely! ♥
