[Review] Battle of 4 Famous Felt-Tip Liquid Eyeliners (Koji - Bobbi Brown - Kate - Clio)

Today, I wanna post a review again but it's not one or two products, but four!

Wow, so many?? Yes, I make it into battle.

Is there anyone love eyeliner? Are you an eyeliner junkie? Well, I am! I love eyeliner and I feel I wear no make up without my eyeliner HAHA. Eyeliner is one of my best and important stuff on my make up bag. No eyeliner, no make up. REALLY! LOL

So, I have tried so many kinds of eyeliner. Liquid, Pencil, Kohl, Gel? What else? I've tried them all and Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner is the best type for me XD. AND IT SHOULD BE BLACK! ROFL!!

That's why I can't stop buying this kind of eyeliner (duh, I don't want to be an impulsive buyer. I want to stop being impulsive T__T)

And so, I wanna post 4 famous eyeliners from very famous manufactures and brands, too. If you a Japanese/Korean make up lover, surely you recognize them. And still, I have one western product here.  I've put the brands on my title. But I'm sorry before, almost of the products are quite difficult in Indonesia, beside Line Beat. Some online shops are selling them. o(^o^)o

Now, let me mention all of them o(^__^)o

1. Koji Line Beat 24H Long Lasting Liquid Eyeliner

2. Kate Quick Eyeliner in BK-1 (Black)

3. Bobbi Brown Ink Liner in Really Black

4. Clio Professional Waterproof Pen Liner Kill Black

Aw, Do you recognize one of them? I think their brands are very famous and It makes me want to have them. Wuuuuh! ♥♥♥

Let's begin:

1. Packaging

♥ Koji Line Beat 24H Long Lasting Liquid Eyeliner

• Line beat is packaged by plastic box and glamorous decoration on it. Well, I don't really like this kind of packaging, indeed
• I love its pattern. The color and leopard pattern makes them look soooo cool! ♥♥  And one more thing, it is made by steel, not plastic! LOL, love it!

♥ Bobbi Brown Ink Liner in Really Black

• I like Bobbi Brown's packaging the most! Simple, Black but Luxurious! I can't stop loving its simplicity lol 
• However, the pen looks kinda cheap thingy. A very ordinary black plastic thing and named "Bobbi Brown" on its body :/

♥ Kate Quick Eyeliner in BK-1 (Black)

• Both packaging and the pen looks cheap. Not very special, indeed. However, its pen is better than Bobbi Brown's pen, IMO.

♥ Clio Professional Waterproof Pen Liner Kill Black

• A box with Lee Hyo Ri on it. Well, I don't really care about its packaging but I'm getting bothered of this kind of box. Take much more space :/ (duh, how complicated I am LOL)
• The pen is very cool! Looks glamorous yet classy. it should be look very elegant :D

2. Brush:

All of them have good brushes!! Yes, all of them. However, I rarely make precise line on my eye make up, so I don't get bothered of its thickness. If you want to make a precise line, Line Beat makes it perfectly!

3. Performance:

• Waterproof (No Rub)

All of them are waterproof eyeliners (no rub, however)

• Waterproof & Rub

Ups, all of them are flaking! But which is better? Yes, Clio!

• Smudgeproof (No Rub)

Smudgeproof? Yeah, they are. And please no rub, here XD

• Smudgeproof & Rub

All of them are flaking away (T___T), however, Kate and Clio are much better than others. Bobbi Brown is the worst :/

For smudgeproof test, I poured baby oil. Why? It will be nearly similar with our oily eyelid, IMO.

Pros & Cos:

1. Koji Line Beat 24H Long Lasting Liquid Eyeliner

Pros:

• Soft brush and the tip is also sharp yet thin. Easily make precise line on my eyes
• Intense color, but it doesn't as intense as Clio
• Easily erased by warm water but the waterproof power is also good
• Smudgeproof (oh yeah!)

Cons:

• Quite expensive for Japanese Eyeliner. I got it for HKD 119/USD 15.35 on Sasa Hongkong outlet, and yeah, more expensive than Koji's other product, Dolly Wink. You can get Dolly Wink for HKD 105/USD 13.54

2. Bobbi Brown Ink Liner in Really Black

Pros:

• It makes me easier to apply my eyeliner since my eyelid is mono and I need to apply my eyeliner higher.
• The brush is quite hard but won't hurt your eyelid. It's very easy to use for newbie, IMO. It won't glide on your eyelid
• Smudgeproof but it isn't waterproof. Weird :/

Cons:

• The most expensive felt-tip eyeliner on my make up bag LOL. I got it for Rp.375.000/USD 40. And yes, I expect more on the result!! Erh~
• Not intense as a black eyeliner. Yes, it was good intensity at first but now it's decreased so much. I don't know how unlucky I am o(T__T)o
• Not Waterproof

3. Kate Quick Eyeliner in BK-1 (Black)

Pros:

• The brush almost as thick as Bobbi Brown's and it must be one of my favorite eyeliner. And yeah, you can still make precise line. So, don't worry
• Cheaper than others. I got it for RM38/USD 11.55 on Watson Penang.
• Quite intense

Cons:

• Not waterproof and not Smudge proof. Duuuh!

4. Clio Professional Waterproof Pen Liner Kill Black

Pros:

• The blackest! It's also very good intensity.
• Dry so fast, but beware it can melt into your hands :/
• The brush is very soft yet sharp. Surely, it can make a precise line easily
• Smudgeproof!

Cons:

• The price isn't very expensive (not reasonable, though). I got it for RM68.80/USD 20.91 and I got Small Face BB Cream on mini size.
• As I've said before, it makes my hand dirty. Perhaps it's too plumpy (I don't know how to describe)
• Not waterproof but it has the best performance among all of them.

So, what do you think of their battle, lovely? :3 Do you love them? Do you want to purchase some of them?

Then if you ask me about repurchasing them, I will answer Clio and Line Beat o(>__<)o 

However, I wanna try other brands like MSH Love Liner.
